After two delays, we now finally have a premiere date for CBS’ new Star Trek series, with the network announcing today that Star Trek: Discovery will launch on CBS on Sunday, September 24th.
The second episode will be made immediately available on CBS All Access, with the rest of the episodes set to hit the streaming service only. The 15-episode season will run weekly from September 24th through to November 5th, with a midseason break until January. Internationally, Netflix will debut the series on Monday, September 25th.

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
