Creative Assembly have announced that their upcoming title Total War: Warhammer II will be released on the 28th September. A new video has also been released that provides a glimpse of a battle between the High Elves of Ulthuan and the cold blooded Lizardmen. Watch this action packed video below…
Alongside the release date announcement come details of the Serpent God Edition of the game. This edition will come in a scaled turquoise presentation box with stone-effect glyphs for that truly Lizardmen look. This edition will contain Total War: Warhammer II, a new race pack for the original Total War: Warhammer (that will include a new Race, two new Legendary Lords and lots of monstrous units), a Stone Effect Puzzle Sphere, Carved Bone-like Totems, a Canvas Map in Lizardmen style, Stickers, Insider Guide, Embossed Metal Case, a Saurus Blade Necklace with hidden 4GB USB and the ever present Art Book.
In the new gameplay video we get to see the High Elves lined up in readiness for war with rows of archers, spearmen and bolt throwers all prepared to take on the advancing Lizardmen. The Lizardmen force consists of Skinks, Saurus’, Cold Ones and all manner of dinosaurs. Then we get to see the ultimate beast for each side, for the High Elves it is a dragon while the Lizardmen have the mighty Carnosaur. If ever you wanted to find out who would win between the two of them then now is your chance.
Total War: Warhammer II leaves the lands of the Empire and Bretonnia in the old world and takes players to the new world where the High Elves and Lizardmen are only two of the four playable races that will appear.
Total War: Warhammer II will be available on the 28th September.
