Bethesda Softworks has released a new gameplay video for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus that sees BJ Blazkowicz visit a diner only to come face to face with a milkshake loving Nazi. In all my years of gaming I have never experienced as nail biting a moment as watching a Nazi buy a strawberry milkshake.
In this cut scene video we find our hero BJ Blazkowicz disguised as a fireman in a diner in Roswell, New Mexico. With just a lady and child and the guy serving behind the counter in the diner it looks like it would be a relatively relaxed video but then the atmosphere is ruined by a Nazi Kommandant with a penchant for strawberry milkshakes. Nazi Kommandants are normally arrogant, sarcastic and suspicious of everyone and this guy doesn’t dispel that image. Knowing BJ, this encounter won’t end with his disguise intact.
Mmm, the strawberry milkshake. An iconic, wholesome treat. And, apparently, the “favorite American thing” for one particular Nazi Kommandant, who stops into a diner in Roswell, New Mexico, to enjoy this scrumptious refreshment. Problem is, BJ Blazkowicz happens to be in that same diner, leading to a quirky yet tense encounter.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be available on the 27th October on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
