As fans will no doubt be aware, after many years of high tech gadgetry and sophisticated weaponry, Call of Duty is heading back to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII and on the 25th August Activision will once again vex every Xbox One gamer by releasing the multiplayer beta to those who have pre-ordered the game on the Playstation 4 first (Xbox gamers will have to wait until September). A new multiplayer beta has been released to show fans what they can expect to experience in the beta. Watch this below…
In the private beta players will gain at least 3 multiplayer maps based on actual locations of heavy fighting during WW2, these locales are Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes and Gibraltar. There will also be the usual selection of game modes available including Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint.
The new Divisions system replaces the Pick 10 Create-a-Class system and will allow players to enlist in one of five fighting groups; Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored or Mountain Division, however, players will not be limited to just one and it will be possible to try them all to see which suits better. There will be a very limited progression for players to rank up and these will unlock weapons, scorestreaks, equipment and Basic Training Skills.
The new Headquarters social area, supply drops and loot will not be included in the beta leaving much more to experience when the game is released on the 3rd November.
