For over 20 years the Worms turn based tactical series has entertained gamers with the likes of the concrete donkeys, exploding sheep and holy hand grenades. Now, Veteran developer Team17 have announced that Worms will have the opportunity to entertain more gamers when Worms W.M.D is released on the Nintendo Switch later this year. Worms W.M.D will feature a range of challenging levels with 30 campaign levels, 20 training missions and 10 challenge missions each of which increases in difficulty. It also features a huge arsenal of weapons both new and old boasting over 80 weapons and utilities for players to use. If that isn’t enough for players then there will also be a range of different mounted gun types to ensure their Worms achieve victory.
Nintendo Switch players will gain all updates that other gamers have been able to experience but they will also be the first players to get their hands on a new crate drop which includes a brand new Space theme, two new forts – Mushroom and Tree House, and brand new customisations including three new outfits and three new gravestones.
The Nintendo Switch edition of Worms W.M.D will include support for single Joy-Con play, local wireless multiplayer and both local and online multiplayer.
Worms W.M.D will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
