205 Live to get a General Manager
If you watched 205 Live last night, you would have seen that the show was opened with a video from Smackdown Live general manager Daniel Bryan. In the video, Bryan announced that Enzo Amore would no longer be working with the WWE and that next week, 205 Live would announce its first ever General Manager.
It is unknown as to whether or not this decision was made before or after the Enzo Amore incident and whether the GM announcement would have happened last night anyway. It is interesting that the company didn’t announce the general manager this week – could a returning Rumble star be announced as the GM? There are several names being talked about on the internet at the moment, so I’ll chuck in an option: Gregory Helms. Helms left Impact Wrestling last year and has not been tied to a company since; he has a long history with both the WWE and the Cruiserweight division and could be the perfect choice for the show’s GM.
Enzo Amore Update
Following his release from the company yesterday, Enzo Amore released the following statement on his Twitter account addressing the accusations against him.

Sean Ross Sapp, of Fightful.com, also tweeted that, apparently, Enzo had known about the accusations and had opted not to tell the WWE.
I was told this morning that Enzo Amore was aware of the allegations and didn’t clue WWE in.

WWE Files Trademarks
PWinsider is reporting that the WWE has filed two trademarks in the last few days, the first of which is ‘Miz and Mrs’ which is related to The Miz and Maryse’s new TV show, while the second, ‘ The Irresistible Force’ is currently unknown. The trademark could be for a new superstar, with rumours of EC3 arriving at this Sunday’s Royal Rumble, could this be his new gimmick in the WWE?
