Back in February it was announced that StudioCanal and producer David Heyman were teaming up to bring Paddington to the small screen for a CG-animated series for preschoolers, and now we have word from Nickelodeon that The Adventures of Paddington is set to premiere in the U.S. this January.
The Adventures of Paddington sees Ben Whishaw reprising his roles from the hit Paddington and Paddington 2 movies, while the voice cast also includes Morwenna Banks, Bobby Beynon, Sheena Bhattessa, Darren Boyd, Noel Clarke, Phyllis Logan, Monica Lopera, Sabrina Newton-Fisher, David Schofield, Reece Shearsmith, Liz Sutherland-Lim and Jeremiah Waysome.
The premiere episode is titled ‘Paddington Finds a Hobby/Paddington and the Stamp’, and the official synopsis reads: “Paddington doesn’t have a hobby, so Mrs. Brown helps him find out what he’s good at. Then, Paddington gets his arm stuck in a mailbox while sending a letter to Aunt Lucy.”
The Adventures of Paddington premieres in the U.S. on January 20th, and will begin its international roll out in March 2020.
