Deadline is reporting that Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot is set to produce a feature film adaptation of Israeli author Dorit Rabinian’s controversial novel Borderlife, a.k.a All the Rivers.
The book tells the story of a Jewish woman and a Palestinian man who meet and fall in love in New York. The novel was banned from high school reading lists in Israel due to its depiction of a cross-cultural romance, which prompted protests leading to a reversal of the decision.
