It’s amazing how much terror something as simple as a doll can produce in us. Maybe it’s a nod to the uncanny valley- this inherent perversion humans have to things that resemble but ultimately aren’t humanoid, particularly with regards to the face.
Or maybe it’s because, deep down, we fear that even tangible objects have an anima- a living essence that makes them aware of everything that goes on around them. And given their eyes, they actually have organs to see so!
Well, as you can imagine, the horror genre is full of scary dolls. Some look silly, but others terrifying, and so Marvelous Videos has compiled a list to leave you with some nightmares for the day! Watch the video here…
