Lionsgate has released a trailer, poster and images for Devilreaux, the upcoming horror from writer-director Thomas J. Churchill.

The film follows detective Bobbie Briggs, as she investigates the disappearance of a group of teens, when the lone survivor surfaces, she makes a claim that her friends were murdered by a legend known as Devilreaux in an abandoned farmhouse and the detective sets out to confront and put a stop to shovel-wielding monster. In this story by star Vincent M. Ward (“The Walking Dead”) and featuring Tony Todd (Candyman franchise), horrific and bloody revenge awaits just beyond the grave. Now, Briggs must visit the legend’s abandoned farmhouse to confront Devilreaux himself – and try to survive his vengeful, razor-sharp shovel.

Featuring in the cast of Devilreaux are Tony Todd, Vincent M. Ward, Jon Bridell, and Krista Grotte Saxon.

Devilreaux arrives in cinemas and on digital on June 9th, followed by a DVD release on July 18th.
