The Wrap is reporting that screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith will make his directorial debut with Warner Bros.’ big screen adaptation of The Flash, which will see Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being A Wallflower) star as the titular lightening-quick hero, known by day as scientist Barry Allen.
Grahame-Smith is perhaps known as the writer behind such films as Dark Shadows and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, as well as working on various mooted projects like Beetlejuice 2, the Gremlins remake/reboot, along with the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie.
The Flash is due for release on March 8th, 2018, while The Flash himself is expected to make his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year.
