GTA V becomes the UK’s highest-selling video game ever

Grand Theft Auto V has stormed to the top of the UK game charts and, with the release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions, has become the highest-selling game ever in the UK – surpassing Call of Duty: Black Ops. Another big release, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 4, clocked in at second place, while Dragon Age: Inquisition arrived at number 5.

Here’s the full breakdown of the top 20 games for the week ending November 22nd:

  1. Grand Theft Auto V
  2. Far Cry 4
  3. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  4. FIFA 15 (up 25%)
  5. Dragon Age: Inquisition
  6. Assassin’s Creed Unity
  7. WWE 2K15 (up 554%)
  8. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  9. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition
  10. Halo: The Master Chief Collection
  11. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
  12. Assassin’s Creed Rogue
  13. Destiny
  14. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  15. Disney Infinity 2.0
  16. Skylanders Trap Team
  17. Tomodachi Life
  18. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag
  19. Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
  20. Forza Horizon 2
