Henry Simmons promoted to series regular for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3

Earlier this week it was announced that Luke Mitchell’s Lincoln Campbell has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming third season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and now Comic Book Resources is reporting that he’ll be joined by Henry Simmons, who plays Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie.

The third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will see Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet ,Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge all reprising their roles from the first two seasons, along with the returning Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki from season two.

The third season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to get underway in the fall on ABC. Follow all of our coverage here.
