SDCC: DC announces Batman & Robin Eternal weekly series and Robin War crossover

July 10, 2015 by Gary Collinson

DC Comics has made a coupe of big Robin-related announcements at the San Diego Comic-Con today, revealing that a Batman Eternal follow-up is set to get underway in October entitled Batman & Robin Eternal, while December will also see a new crossover entitled Robin War.

The weekly series Batman & Robin Eternal is set to reintroduce the character of Cassandra Cain into the DC universe and see her as one of three main characters alongside Dick Grayson and Harper Row. Scott Snyder, Jason Tynion IV, Tim Seeley, Genevieve Valentine, Steve Orlando, Ed Brisson, Jackson Lanzing and Colin Kelly are on board the writing team, with Tony S. Daniel, Paul Pelletier and Scott Eaton handling the art.

Robin War will run for five weeks in December, taking place in the pages of Robin: Son of Batman, We Are Robin and Gotham Academy before concluding with two one-shots from writer Tom King.
