Trailers for Suicide Squad, X-Men: Apocalypse and Independence Day: Resurgence rated

December 3, 2015 by Gary Collinson

We’ve just seen the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [watch it here], and it looks like Warner Bros. will close out 2015 by giving us another look at its second DC movie of 2016, with the British Board of Film Classification officially rating a second trailer for Suicide Squad with a 15 certificate.

Meanwhile, the Alberta Film Ratings board has also classified the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse, which is set to be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens this month, along with the first trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action sequel Independence Day: Resurgence. Both are rated PG.

UPDATE: It turns out the Suicide Squad trailer that has been classified is actually the Comic Con one, as it is set to feature on an upcoming Warner Bros. DVD/Blu-ray release.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27th 2016, with Independence Day: Resurgence arriving on June 24th 2016 and Suicide Squad following on August 5th 2016.
