Deadpool’s smashing box office success as an R-rated superhero flick is already causing ripples in normality, as the MPAA have recently given an R rating to a different cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
This cut, appropriately titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is specifically intended for the Blu-ray release of the film. There is no word on the difference in content, but this version is stated as R-rated for “sequences of violence”
Also noted is “EDITED VERSION. CONTENT IS DIFFERENT FROM PG-13 VERSION, BULLETIN NO. 2393 (9/30/15)”
