Joel Kinnaman joins House of Cards for fourth season

February 4, 2016 by Gary Collinson

2016 is shaping up to be a big year for Joel Kinnaman. Not only is he set to lead the Suicide Squad in August’s big DC supervillain team-up, but he’s also joined the cast of Netflix’s acclaimed political drama House of Cards.

Both Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are back for the fourth season, while Kinnaman joins fellow series newcomers Neve Campbell (Scream) and Colm Feore (Gotham).

Last week, it was announced that House of Cards has been renewed for a fifth season, although creator Bill Willimon will be stepping aside as showrunner after season four, which hits Netflix on March 4th.
