Benedict Cumberbatch comments on the “fun” of Avengers: Infinity War script

March 2, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Benedict Cumberbatch – Doctor Strange himself – has recently commented on the script for Avengers: Infinity War.

Cumberbatch, the newest Avenger set to join the roster, can look forward to the biggest of superhero get-togethers when the culmination of all events finally concludes with the much anticipated Avengers: Infinity War.

Fans have been waiting quite some time to see all the disparate elements come together and to watch in glee as our myriad heroes battle the Machiavellian – and extremely patient – Thanos.

Doctor Strange will surely be a key part in taking down the Mad Titan, his mastery of all things other-worldly is bound to come in handy when the fighting ensues. Cumberbatch has been receiving a warm reception for his performance as the surgeon turned sorcerer, and has now commented on the screenplay for this most packed of movies.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Sherlock actor said, “I’ve got a script and I’ve been reading it… It’s very, very good fun.”

Cumberbatch declined to comment further with regards to plot details, much like the rest of the cast, so for any info on the Infinity War story we will all just have to be patient. If Thanos can hang out this long for his precious gems surely we can wait a little longer for the film itself.
