Fox Chairman and CEO Gary Newman has announced that the network has cancelled the anthology horror comedy series Scream Queens after two seasons.
“Over the course of the two seasons, it feels like it was a complete story,” said Newman during the network’s upfronts conference call (via TV Guide). “We have no plans to go back there to tell more stories.”
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, Scream Queens featured a cast that included Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer Jamie Lee Curtis.
