Middle-earth: Shadow of War casts over London

October 11, 2017 by Emma Withington

Orcs, Drakes, Caragors, and even Talion himself cast their shadows over London last night, celebrating the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Maybe you subliminally saw the ‘Shadow-vert’ shadow-casting projections and suddenly found yourself at a midnight launch, wondering what could have brought you there. It’s also possible you were rounded up by nearby orcs and dragged to the nearest store. Whichever excuse suits you, when you come home with Middle-earth: Shadow of War and attempt to explain to your partner what happened.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War, is available today! Check out the sights from last night’s launch celebration in our gallery here…

Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an open world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories.
