THR has revealed that Fathom Events is set to bring Tommy Wiseau’s cult classic to 600 U.S. theaters for a special one-day release on January 10th, which will be accompanied by a trailer for Wiseau and actor Greg Sestero’s new film Best F(r)iends).

First released into just two theaters in 2003, Wiseau’s self-funded film has been labelled as “the worst movie ever made”, but has gained a strong cult following in the years since its release.
The Room has enjoyed a resurgence in recent months thanks to The Disaster Artist, which chronicles the making of the film and stars James Franco as Wiseau and Dave Franco as Greg Sestero.
