Sony pulls The Crow remake from its release schedule

Having spent a number of years stuck in development hell before the bankruptcy of then-rights holder Relativity Media, it looked as though the long-gestating remake of The Crow had been brought back from the dead this past September when Sony Pictures announced that it had picked up the project.

However, things fell apart in May when – just weeks before shooting was about to begin – director Corin Hardy and star Jason Momoa both announced that they had exited the movie due to creative differences with producer Samuel Hadida.

That wasn’t the first time the remake had lost a director or star, but it may well be the final time, as Exhibitor Relations is now reporting that the film has been pulled from its October 11th 2019 release date and is now no longer part of Sony’s upcoming slate…

Another one bites the dust. Sony's THE CROW reboot has flown into the shadows and been removed from their release schedule.
