Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge gets new promo and concept art

March 9, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Coinciding with the news from Disney CEO Bob Iger that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open its doors on May 31st at Disneyland and August 29th at DisneyWorld, a new promo has been released for the highly-anticipated Star Wars-themed lands which includes footage from the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction. Check it out here…

Meanwhile, via Jedi News, we’ve also got some concept art showing three other areas that visitors to Galaxy’s Edge will be able to enjoy in the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo restaurant, Milk Stand and Creature Stall:

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

At this restaurant housed in a working hangar bay, choose from a variety of dishes prepared with ingredients from across the galaxy—all of it delicious, but none of it familiar. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies and he’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings.

Milk Stand

Quench your thirst with a cup of Batuu’s legendary blue or green treat, served frozen—opening May 31, 2019. No visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is complete without a frosty confection from the Milk Stand. The vendors at this quirky stall offer travelers an invigorating, refreshing drink that’s a favorite among the locals.

Creature Stall

At this exotic shop, you’re free to explore as you peek into cages and crates filled with hard-to-find species from across the galaxy. Bina, the stall’s proprieter, scours star systems to keep this storefront stocked with unique companions for her customers.
