Christmas Special: Lethal Weapon with The Courier director Zackary Adler | The Pick of the Flicks Podcast #60

December 18, 2019 by Tom Beasley

On The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, a different guest drops in every week to chat about their favourite film. This week, filmmaker Zackary Adler discusses his own action thriller The Courier and Lethal Weapon – his favourite Christmas movie…

On this week’s episode of The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, it’s another Christmas special and the final episode of 2019. Our guest is filmmaker Zackary Adler. His new film is action thriller The Courier, starring Olga Kurylenko and Gary Oldman, which he discusses alongside his favourite Christmas movie – Richard Donner’s buddy cop classic Lethal Weapon. We chat about Mel Gibson’s unhinged performance, its influence on cinematic fight scenes and draw a few too many connections with A Christmas Carol.
