Saved By The Bell reboot trailer features the returning Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley

April 16, 2020 by Ricky Church

NBC has released a first-look trailer for the upcoming Saved By The Bell reboot series. The teaser features original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley returning as A.C. Slater and Jesse Spano respectively as they try helping the students of Bayside High adjust to school and everyday life. Watch the trailer below…

California Governor Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) will find himself in trouble for closing too many low-income high schools and then propose that the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High. The influx of new students will give the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of reality.

The Saved By The Bell reboot features returning cast members Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) and Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) alongside a new young cast of Bayside High students which includes Josie Totah (Champions), Dexter Darden (The Maze Runner), Haskiri Velazquez (The Birch), Mitchell Hoog (Harriet), Alycia Pasqual-Pena (Chase) and Belmont Cameli (Empire).

The series was set to premiere later this year, though with production having shut down around the end of March, it is not known if it will still be able to air on schedule.
