Meet Your Maker in Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 trailer

April 30, 2021 by Ricky Church

Lucifer returns and he’s bringing a big name with him. Netflix has released the trailer for the second half of Lucifer‘s fifth season which introduces Dennis Haysbert (24) as God, the father of Lucifer, Amenadiel and Michael and creator of all things. God’s arrival is anything but celebratory though as the family’s dysfunctional problems really come out. Watch the trailer below…

Lucifer is based on the comic by Neil Gaiman and sees Lucifer become bored of ruling over Hell and takes up residence in Los Angeles, becoming a consultant to Detective Chloe Decker and he helps solve a variety of murder cases and deals out his divine retribution.

Season 5 Part 1 ended with a climactic fight between Lucifer, Amenadiel and Lucifer’s twin brother Michael only for the fight to be broken up by the arrival of their father God, who has never been previously in the show.

Lucifer is created by showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson and stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, Scarlett Estevez, and Kevin Alejandro.

In the second half of Season 5, God  himself arrives on Earth. Secrets are revealed, and heroic sacrifices are made, which will change the world forever.
