Final Infinity Pool teaser asks you to make a terrifying choice

January 24, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Following its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, Brandon Cronenberg’s nightmare horror Infinity Pool has dropped a final teaser ahead of its release in U.S. cinemas this weekend.

The story of a holidaying couple (Alexander Skarsgard and Cleopatra Coleman) who meet a mysterious girl (Mia Goth) who leads them outside the resort, where they 3ncounter a perverse subculture of hedonistic tourism, reckless violence and surreal horrors. We called Infinity Pool “a work of overegged excess” that remained “an enticingly twisted satire of holiday hedonism” in our ★★★★ review, which you can read here. Check out the teaser below…

While staying at an isolated island resort, James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi (Mia Goth), they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you’ll be executed, or, if you’re rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead.

Infinity Pool arrives in U.S. cinemas on January 27th and in UK cinemas 24th March 2023.
