Arrow’s Stephen Amell rumored to face WWE’s Stardust at SummerSlam

May 31, 2015 by Robert Kojder

Stephen Amell of Arrow fame has made it clear that he is a long time fan of WWE, and according to HollywoodLife plans are set in motion to feature him in an actual match at the company’s annual flagship dog days event SummerSlam.

Not only has Amell been very vocal on social media outlets expressing his desire to appear on Monday Night Raw as one of the show’s occasional special guests, he also has started a war of words with WWE superstar Cody Rhodes AKA Stardust. The brewing rivalry was also slightly elevated when Amell was on camera in the live audience two weeks ago, once again verbally squabbling with the professional wrestler.

We will keep you updated as the story develops. WWE SummerSlam 2015 will emanate from New York on August 22nd.

UPDATE: Looks like this was just a rumour for now as Stephen Amell tweeted out that there are no plans for him to face Stardust at Summerslam. Of course, he could just be laying down the ground work for a match…

Check out the tweet below:

Lots of rumors circulating that I’m fighting @StardustWWE at Summerslam. Not true. Cody wants no piece of me.
