Chucky creator teases Child’s Play: The TV Series

June 23, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Back in February, Chucky creator Don Mancini revealed that he plans to bring the killer doll to the small screen, and now he’s shared the following tease Child’s Play: The TV Series to social media…

The Chucky franchise launched in 1988 with the release of the first Child’s Play, which was followed by six sequels, the most recent of which was Cult of Chucky in 2017. The films revolve around serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif), who uses a voodoo ritual to transfer his soul into the Good Guy doll Chucky after being fatally wounded by the police, allowing his killing spree to continue.

Mancini previously revealed that the series is being developed as an eight-episode hourlong which will go “darker than ever before”, and that Dourif will be back to lend his voice to Chucky once again.

With the arrival of this tease, hopefully we’ll get some new information on Child’s Play: The TV Series in the very near future.
