July 10, 2015 by Gary Collinson

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that singer-songwriter Alison Sudol (Dig) is set to make her feature film debut in the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Sudol is set to portray Queenie, the younger sister of Tina (Katherine Waterston), a character who runs into Eddie Redmayne’s magiczoologist Newt Scamander during his stay in New York City.

The site also reports that both Josh Gad and John Krasinski have met with Warner Bros. about the role of Jacob, and a decision is expected to be made in the next few days.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set for release on November 18th, 2016.
