Rumour: Wolverine 3 may be titled The Death of Logan

June 13, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Yesterday we brought you the news that 20th Century Fox had registered a domain for Wolverine: Weapon X, seemingly confirming the title for the currently-in-production third solo movie.

Well, it turns out that isn’t the only possible title, as Crunchbace is reporting that Fox has also snapped up www.thedeathoflogan.com, which certainly would be a fitting – if somewhat spoilery – title for Hugh Jackman’s final X-Men outing. Hopefully we’ll get a definitive answer at Comic-Con next month.

Which title do you prefer – Wolverine: Weapon X or The Death of Logan? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…

Wolverine 3 is being helmed by The Wolverine director James Mangold and will see Hugh Jackman joined in the cast by Patrick Stewart as Professor X, along with new additions Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Elise Neal. It is set for release on March 3rd, 2017.
