Possible spoiler: The “other villain” in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice revealed

Warning – this is a possible spoiler…

Last week we posted a photo from the LEGO sets of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that suggested there would be another villain in the movie alongside Lex Luthor and Doomsday. Well, the folks over at Latino-Review claim they know who it is.

The site is ‘confirming’ that the other villain is Bizarro – which is what had been speculated by fans following the trailers and the aforementioned LEGO sets.

What’s interesting is that Latino-Review aren’t just ‘confirming’ this scoop or claiming a ‘hot rumour’, they are guaranteeing it.

“With people claiming to have seen the film beginning to pop up or garner attention on Reddit, it might seen like this is just the newest in a line of possible Superman villains that might appear. But it is not. Bizarro’s appearance isn’t speculation knitted together from other pieces of info, or one of our usual “hot rumors” that can sometimes be in dispute. Bizarro WILL appear in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice as part of the setup for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League, Part 1.”

If you didn’t see the sets, it had two Supermen – one of which had the glowing red eyes we’ve seen the characters sport in the trailers. The theory by fans is that this is in fact a Clone Superman, who will be the DC Extended Universe version of Bizarro. In the Post-Crisis DC Comics Universe, Lex Luthor created Bizarro from Superman’s DNA, and Latino-Review are suggesting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will follow a similar path.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for release on March 25th 2016 and sees Zack Snyder directing a cast that includes returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Harry Lennix (General Swanwick) and Christina Wren (Carrie Farris) alongside Ben Affleck (Argo) as Batman, Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6) as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg (Now You See Me) as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons (The Borgias) as Alfred Pennyworth and Jena Malone (Sucker Punch), Holly Hunter (The Piano), Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine) as Mercy Graves and Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire) and Scoot McNairy (Argo).
