Kevin Smith will direct another episode of The Flash in season 3

May 4, 2016 by James Garcia

Kevin Smith’s episode of The Flash won’t air until next week, but the show runners must be confident that he did a good job, because they’ve hired him back for next season.

According to ComicBook.com, Smith’s second Flash episode will film in August. This means that it will likely air before the midseason finale, since cameras begin rolling on season 3 beginning in July.

Kevin Smith’s episode of The Flash, titled “The Runaway Dinosaur,” will air on May 10th. You can read the synopsis here:

KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS – With Barry (Grant Gustin) gone, the team must figure out a way to handle the return of an old enemy – Girder (guest star Greg Finley).  Realizing Girder is retracing his steps from his last attack, Iris (Candice Patton) volunteers to act as bait to trap him in S.T.A.R. Labs.  Meanwhile, Barry fights to return to his old life.
