Tobey Maguire says Tom Holland was “great” as Spider-Man

May 9, 2016 by admin

Tom Holland made his long-awaited debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as The Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, and a previous Wall Crawler has officially passed the torch.

Someone posted a video online of Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker watching Captain America: Civil War, which the actor found so funny he reposted it to his Intagram adding, “@tomholland2013 good job! You are great as Spider-Man. Keep it up!”

Check it out below:

Haha seriously, who made this? @tomholland2013 good job! You are great as Spider-Man. Keep it up!

Maguire played Spider-Man in 2001’s Spider-Man and its sequels Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, the latter of which is not widely regarded by fans.
