Maggie Geha cast as Poison Ivy for Gotham season 3

June 22, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Originally published June 22, 2016. Updated April 15, 2018.

Last week it was announced that Gotham’s producers have decided to recast Ivy Pepper, aging up the character for a full-blown take on the Batman villain Poison Ivy.

Well, it’s now been announced that Maggie Geha (Ted 2) is replacing Clare Foley, with Warner Bros. TV releasing an official character description that explains the recasting:

“Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn, and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a 19-year-old woman who’s harnessed the full power of her charms, she sets her sights on Bruce Wayne.”
