It looks like Marvel’s Iron Fist may have a new addition to its cast, with Bollywood actor and stuntman Sameer Ali Khan (Rock the Kasbah) seemingly revealing on Instagram that he’s joined the currently-in-production Netflix series.
The Afghan actor, who has a martial arts background, joked that he will miss his beard as he has to be clean-shaven for a new three month job, hashtagging the image with #kick, which is the working title for Iron Fist as it shoots in New York City.

Marvel’s Iron Fist will see Finn Jones (Game of Thrones) leading the cast as Danny Rand alongside Jessica Henwick (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Colleen Wing, David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings) as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup (90210) as Joy Meachum, Tom Pelphrey (Banshee) as Ward Meachum and Carrie-Anne Moss (Jessica Jones) as Jeri Hogarth. It is expected to hit Netflix in the early part of 2017.
