Following the release of Suicide Squad, Jared Leto took a moment out from complaining about how many of his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor to say that he’d like to see his Joker going up against Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight in the Batman solo movie, and now he’s told IGN that it would be interesting to see the Clown Prince of Crime sharing the screen with the Man of Steel.
“Superman seems like a lot of fun though for the Joker,” said Leto. “The Joker and Superman would be interesting to see on screen because Superman’s so stoic and morally-centred. I think that the Joker would really enjoy that. Superman is just the classic hero, and The Joker opposite any classic hero would be really interesting.”
