Jason Momoa reportedly set for The Crow remake

August 11, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Just like its lead character Eric Draven, it looks like the long-gestating remake of The Crow may have returned from the dead, with Mashable reporting that Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) is in talks with Relativity Media about taking on the lead role in the film. The report is seemingly supported by an image Momoa posted to Facebook showing him alongside director Corin Hardy (The Hallows)…

It should probably be noted however that back in March it was reported that Hardy had vacated the director’s chair on The Crow, so it’s possible Momoa is referring to a different project.

Talk of a Crow remake has been circling since 2008, with Stephen Norrington, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Francisco Javier Gutierrez all attached at one point or another as directors, and both Luke Evans and Jack Huston having signed on to portray Eric Draven in recent years.
