Yesterday it was revealed that Ashley Rickards (Awkward) is set to play The Top in the third season of The Flash, and now comes word from Comic Book that the show has cast another DC supervillain, with Fargo star Joey King signing on to play Magenta.
The character description for Magenta reads: “A teen with a troubled past, Frances “Frankie” Kane is a meta-human with the ability to control metal… but her powers come with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.”
King does have some prior DC experience, having played the young Talia al Ghul in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.
Season three of The Flash will get underway on Tuesday, October 4th.
