Matthew MacCaull to play the Justice Society’s Commander Steel in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

August 5, 2016 by Gary Collinson

The CW has found the another member of the Justice Society of America for season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, with Entertainment Weekly reporting that Matthew MacCaull (iZombie, Star Trek Beyond) is set to play Henry Heywood, a.k.a. Commander Steel.

As revealed during Comic-Con, Commander Steel will be a member of the JSA alongside Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and the yet-to-be-cast Star Girl, Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian.

Henry Heywood won’t be the only Steel appearing in the series, as Nick Zano has been cast as Henry’s grandson Nate Heywood, a.k.a. Citizen Steel.
