Daniel Radcliffe wanted to play Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

During an interview with Metro (via Comic Book) to promote the release of his new film Swiss Army Man [read our review here], former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he would have loved to nab the role of Spider-Man for his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War.

“I would’ve been a good Spider-Man but the boat has sailed on that and I’m very happy to watch Tom Holland do it. He’s fantastic,” said Radcliffe, who actually cosplayed as the wall-crawler during the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International.
