Melissa McCarthy is one of the most popular female actresses around right now with every film she’s in raking in huge amounts of money. The Bridesmaids star hopes to continue the streak with a new comedy that her and husband Ben Falcone have sold to Fox.
Currently the show is untitled but McCarthy and Falcone will serve as executive producers along with Larry Dorf who will also write for the show. The show will focus on two mismatched guys who become step brothers when their parents get married. Warner Bros. TV is the production company lined up to produce.
This is the third comedy in the last three years that Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone have sold. The husband and wife duo also have a film coming out next summer called Tammy, which will be the directorial debut of Ben Falcone.
