Groovy! Ash vs. Evil Dead gets two new cast members

February 11, 2015 by Luke Owen

Some groovy news for you Deadite fans, as we’ve now got two new cast members who will be starring alongside Bruce Campbell in Ash vs. Evil Dead.

First up is Ray Santiago (Touch) who will be playing Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes the loyal sidekick to Ash throughout the series. According to one report, Bolivar will believe in Ash’s heroics more than the chainsaw wielding man does.

They will also be joined by Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) who will feature as Kelly Maxwell, a wild child trying to outrun her past who is dragged into the fight with Ash and Pablo. Together, she’ll find a new family amongst her battle against the Deadites.

“Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal.”

Ash vs. Evil Dead will air in late 2015 and begins shooting in New Zealand very soon.
