Last month it was confirmed that Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow will follow J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Rian Johnson (Star Wars: Episode VIII) by closing out Disney’s Sequel Trilogy as he tackles directing duties on 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX.
While we’re some time away from Trevorrow venturing to a galaxy far, far away, the filmmaker has taken to Twitter to tease his preparations, posting an Lucasfilm notebook with the caption: “Back to school. #IX”.
