Expand your DC collection with Eaglemoss!

September 6, 2016 by Gary Collinson

With DC Comics back on top of the comic book charts for the first time since 2013 following its Rebirth relaunch, Eaglemoss Collections is catering to fans new and old with a range of rather fantastic DC-themed products, including graphic novels, figurines and other merchandise.

DC Comics Graphic Novel Collection

If you’re new to the world of DC, or even a long time reader looking to catch up on some of the publisher’s greatest ever stories, then the DC Comics Graphic Novel Collection is going to be right up your street.

This fortnightly collection of special edition hardback books features such epics as Batman: Hush, JLA: Tower of Babel, Batman: A Death in the Family, The Death of Superman, Batman The Long Halloween, The New Frontier and Flashpoint – along with bumper sized specials such as Crisis on Infinite Earths and Infinite Crisis.

The regular books retail for £9.99, and come complete with detailed introductions to bring you up to speed with the storylines, along with behind-the-scenes info and classic back up strips presenting origin stories, team-ups and key moments from the characters’ histories.

For details on the full line-up of titles, or to order books, visit the website here.

DC Comics Super Hero Collection

If you’re already up to speed with your comic book continuity and would instead prefer to decorate your shelves with some of the most iconic characters of the DCU, then you may want to cast your eye over the Super Hero Collection.

The DC Comics Super Hero Collection features small (1:21 scale), hand-painted metallic resin figurines featuring the heroes and villains of the DC universe in classic poses, while each comes with a 16-page booklet providing a comprehensive history of said character.

These were previously released in fortnightly magazine format beginning back in 2008; this time the figurines come in their own box, while the booklets are digest-sized, and have been updated to include the New 52. So, if you missed any of your favourites first time around, then now is the time to fill in any gaps!

DC Masterpiece Collection

Those looking for something a little larger in scale may want to opt for the DC Masterpiece Collection; these limited edition figurines measure at least 4.5″ in height and include such characters as the Justice League, Batgirl, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Two-Face and Lex Luthor – along with a special Batman: The Dark Knight Returns box set.

The DC Masterpiece Collection figurines are available in several box-sets, priced between £29.99 and £49.99, and each set includes a rather nice glossy magazine packed with character biographies, classic stories and other fascinating insights into the heroes and villains.

DC Comics Watch Collection

And last but by no means least, Eaglemoss is also offering a range of DC Comics watches, which cover everything from movies such as Batman 1989, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad to classic comic tales like The Killing Joke and Hush. The high quality watches are all presented in their own collector’s tin, and are priced at £24.99 apiece.

To browse or purchase all of the items mentioned above, be sure to head on over to the Eaglemoss Collections store here.
