After a whirlwind of mostly negative rumors and news for Batman’s solo film titled (officially now) The Batman, recently the DCEU blockbuster entry found a replacement for Ben Affleck (who decided to step down from steering the ship).
As most of you probably know now, Matt Reeves (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) is the chosen one, and Ben Affleck (who is still starring in the film as the Caped Crusader) has taken to Twitter to welcome him onto the project. Check it out below:

The Batman has lately suffered a number of delays getting into production, but is expected to shoot in the spring/summer ahead of a possible release in 2018.
