In a new interview with Yahoo Movies (via ScreenRant), Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson (Room) was asked where Captain Marvel will fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – on Earth with the likes of Iron Man and Captain America or somewhere up in space with Star-Lord and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Well, it turns out that she will be the one to bring the two different aspects of the MCU toegther, with Larson stating: “Well, quite simply, she’s kind of like the bridge between these two worlds. She’s the bridge between what’s happening up in space and what’s happening down on Earth.”
Captain Marvel is set for release on March 8th 2019 and Larson is expected to make her debut as Carol Danvers in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War. She will next be seen in theaters in Kong: Skull Island, which opens on March 10th and sees her starring alongside MCU veterans Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly and Shea Whigham.
