Godzilla: King of Monsters casts Kyle Chandler as Stranger Things star’s Dad

With the next in their MonsterVerse slate, Kong: Skull Island, nearly upon us, details about Legendary’s sequel to 2014’s Godzilla are starting to be revealed.

Stranger Things star Millie Bobbie Brown has already been revealed to have a role in Godzilla: King of Monsters and now we know that Bloodline star Kyle Chandler will be teaming up his fellow Netflix performer to play her father.

The man behind Krampus, Michael Dougherty, is directing the film for Legendary, with the monster movie being the next film before the titanic clash between Kong and Godzilla takes place in May of 2020.

Plot details for King of  Monsters are currently unknown but with the addition of Chandler, much lauded for his riveting turn on Netflix’s family crime drama Bloodline, the look of the movie is starting to generate.

Check out the next film in Legendary’s monster series, Kong: Skull Island on March 10th.
