Avengers: Infinity War to film in New York City

March 27, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Originally published March 27, 2017. Updated November 30, 2022.

While Avengers: Infinity War is currently shooting in both Edinburgh, Scotland and Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, it seems that New York City will once again play a pivotal role as a battleground and point of defense for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Movie Casting Call is reporting that the filmmakers are looking for anyone in the ages of 18-50 to play extras when shooting transitions over to New York on May 19th. Plot details regarding the change of location are still kept under wraps, but it’s not necessarily a surprise given how many of the superheroes reside in New York. Also, there is no word yet on which of the Avengers will be participating in this tantalizing New York sequence, but we will no doubt get to see some set photos once the production moves to the city.
