Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are working on a new project

March 12, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

It looks like a potential Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunion is on the horizon, with Frost revealing that the duo are currently working on a new project, which would mark their first collaboration since 2013’s The World’s End.

“Simon and I are working on something. We’re trying to do something a bit special at the moment,” Frost tells Inverse, noting that as yet it’s undecided as to whether it will be a TV project or feature film. “It’s a work in progress, and we may have some more information on it later in the year. I think I’d [want] to do something in the sci-fi world. Something a bit ghost hunter-y, or a bit Monster of the Week in a comedy. With two guys and a girl, it’s like The X-Files, but they’re not affiliated with any government agency.”

Pegg and Frost first began their partnership on the cult comedy series Spaced, before appearing in Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy – Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End. The duo also co-wrote and starred in the 2011 sci-fi comedy Paul.
